Set Smanos Home to Arm Stay at IFA 2019

Berlin – Sep 6, 2019 – smanos, a trendsetting innovator and dynamic developer of wireless smart home and DIY security systems, is thrilled to be back at IFA from September 6 to 11, and is proudly presenting its smart home security portfolio, with live demos of the latest W600 and K1 systems working with the Google® Assistant and Amazon® Alexa voice interactions, as well as the new battery-powered video doorbell. The complete smanos smart home portfolio speaks minimalistic elegance, self-installation and self-monitoring, and is available at Booth 303 in Hall 25 at Messe Berlin throughout the 6 days.

The W600, the ultimate home automation and security center, is smanos’ latest smart home innovation on display. “We have upgraded our extremely popular GSM-based X500 and added a few cool features, the most noticeable of which are Works with the Google Assistant, WiFi connectivity and 4G LTE® backup,” said Hayden Hsu, Managing Director for Smanos Europe. “For us, it was quite straightforward to adjust our app and cloud infrastructure. Integrating with the Google Assistant has enabled us to better serve our users across multiple languages. Instead of being limited on a single device at home, we can meet our users where they are – on the phone, in the office, in the car, while watching TV – enabling them to interact with our products not just by voice but also by typing and tapping.” The newly enhanced W600 is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Nest® thermostats, Philips® Hue lightbulbs and IFTTT, and is available across Europe and other select markets at an MSRP of €300.

Available separately or as part of the W600 system, smanos’ second-generation Smart Video Doorbell (Battery Plus) brings clarity and ease of installation/use to watching your front door. The smanos video doorbell can be easily mounted by your front door with just double-sided tape and security screws, and provides remote visitor notifications, directly on your iOS or Android smartphone. Events-triggered video clips are securely stored online for free (7 days rolling during the first year), and can be accessed, shared and archived remotely. The new doorbell is available at an MSRP of €100.

As a proud winner of Red Dot Product Design, Computex d&i, TWICE VIP, DISTREE Diamond and National Hardware Show Silver Awards, smanos will be showcasing much more on-site. Designed in the Netherlands and marketed worldwide, smanos is our complete security, monitoring and automation system lineup for today’s homeowners, said Ken Li, group founder and CEO. “What makes smanos a must-have brand to distributors, retailers and service providers is that we’re truly committed to researching, designing and delivering innovative, comprehensive and easy-to-use smart home security solutions that will help them outperform their sales and profit targets.” What’s being demanded in the residential market these days is smart, simple, sleek, mobile yet compact and integrated ingenuity, and smanos will continue providing just that, with even more home automation, cloud-based management and monitoring options.
